A very happy new year to all our writers — the competition is now open!

2019 is the 15th anniversary year for Frome Festival Short Story Competition and we hope our choice of guest judge this year will inspire you all to aim high.

Tyler Keevil, who won the first-ever competition in Frome in 2004 with “Mangleface”, returns as a successful novelist, screenwriter and university lecturer to judge this year’s competition.
